Paul is always open to creating a custom learning experience, local or international, should you desire something different or more of a one-on-one experience. Paul takes his role as instructor seriously and his emphasis is on your photography, not his. He emphasizes the creative aspects of photography while providing lots of technical knowledge with hands-on. Sharing. Tours groups are kept small to develop the group relationship and to allow lots of personal contact and field instruction. Participants will leave at the end of the workshop with an enlightened knowledge of the place they explored, a greater awareness of their own strengths and weaknesses, new technical skills, and an enhanced sensitivity to light, color and composition.

While tours are best experienced by photographers
equipped with digital SLR cameras, there is always
room for photographers who still use traditional
photography equipment or for partners who want to
just enjoy the tour experience with a point and shoot
camera. Daily activities alternate between field trips
and local wanderings to provide a colourful mix of
work, play and rest. Evenings are often spent eating
good food while reviewing and critiquing the days
shooting. To maximize the personal experience,
and to build group participation, Paul requests that
participants are in good health and able to participate
in all the field activities. Workshops are very carefully
planned with safety, comfort and a joyful experience
guaranteed for all.
